There is also the loss of strength. Many try to handle life in their own power, but eventually grow weary. Worship renews our strength because it shifts the focus from our limits to God’s unlimited power. Isaiah 40:31 says, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles.” Without worship, we easily burn out. With worship, we find new energy and resilience to keep going.
Finally, not worshiping God means missing out on intimacy with Him. Worship is how we draw near to our Creator, how we know His heart, and how we experience His presence. Without it, our relationship with God becomes distant or cold. Worship is the way we stay close to Him and allow His Spirit to shape our lives.
